Thornton Hibs were formed as a Juvenile side in 1913, beating Denbeath Star 'A' 5-0 in their first game on Saturday 30th August of that year.
They won every honour at that level with the exception of the Scottish Cup; although they did reach the final in 1931, but lost to Blairhall following a replay at Stark's Park, Kirkcaldy. Sharp netted the Hibs' goal in the narrow 1-2 defeat, with the full line-up being:
Bannerman; McCallum and Crawford; Pryde, Baxter and Gravener; Wilson, Cunningham, Sharp, Ferrie and Low.
Included in the trophy haul was the Fife Juvenile Cup; won in both the 1922/23 and 1930/31 seasons.
The Hibs last game in the Juvenile grade was a 1-2 defeat to Kinglassie Institute in the final of the Cura Cup (at Duffus Park, Cupar) on Thursday 11th July 1935. James Sharp netted the final goal before the move to the Juniors.
