Due to the current exceptional circumstances, Nithsdale Wanderers have withdrawn from the 2020/21 competition, without sanction, and the tie has been awarded to ourselves by the competition committee.

Whilst this is not the way we would wish to progress, we fully understand the postion of Nithsdale given the prevalence of Covid-19 positive cases in their region. All at Thornton Hibs wish them well and hopefully we can meet at another time in the future.

In common with other associations, the East of Scotland Football League are due to hold a meeting next week to include discussions on the continuation of the league and associated cup competitions. We will keep you updated on any outcome affecting Thornton Hibs.
