Hibs travel the short distance to Star for the opening fixture in the latest organisation of the East Region leagues; this season we play in the ten-team Superleague South.

In the league fixture at Treaton Park last season (on 25th August), Chris Ireland converted Daniel McNab's low cross in the second minute for the only goal of the game. Chris was making his 200th appearance for Thornton Hibs that day.
