Hibs will be looking to bounce back from Wednesday night's defeat to Livingston when they travel to play Pumpherston.

Pumpherston have enjoyed an unbeaten start to the season and are currently joint-top with Fauldhouse United on 10 points from their four games, with an exciting 4-4 encounter at Fauldhouse on Wednesday night. They are the leading scorers with 13 and the man to look out for is Zander Murray who has netted 5 of those.

This will be the first ever league game between the sides.

The last meeting at Recreation Park was in the East of Scotland Cup (first round) on 11th September 2010. Martin McCann netted for Pumpherston in the 27th minute very much against the run of play, but then Ian Hepburn scored from the spot three minutes later after Ross Morgan was pushed over by Stewart Morrice. There was no further scoring and debutant goalkeeper Kevin Smith was the Hibs' hero when he saved Andy Heeps strike in the penalty shoot-out to secure Thornton's passage to the next round.
